On a clear day, you can see Mt. Adams from the middle of the creek. Nearby is the "Sleeping Beauty" trail that takes you to a breathtaking vista with a view of St. Helens, Mt. Hood, and Mt. Adams. It is about a mile and a half up a "kickin' your ass" hill, but woth it in the end.
Trout Creek Campground in located in Washington, just 10 miles from Trout Lake. Camping spot number 16 is our group's favorite.
